I just learned how to do this type of braiding. And while I usually don't have patience for seed beads, I've become quite addicted! Kumihimo is an ancient Japenese braiding technique. While I don't like the look of the plain braided ones for jewelry, I love the look with beads! Thought I would try some pearls and czech fire polished beads I had on hand. Makes for a nice statement piece!
As you braid the beads naturally spiral. For this one I loaded the two different colored beads on different strands and if you look closely at the bronze beads, you can see it!
